Brauhof Acoustic in July – Mojo & Albert

Two “veterans” of the German blues scene join forces

Albert Koch, blues harmonica player (“blues harp”) from Kaiserslautern, known for his virtuoso harp playing in blues and boogie-woogie, and Jürgen “Mojo” Schultz, a guitarist from Weinheim, who makes all kinds of special string instruments—like lap steel and resonator guitars—vibrate and sing, acoustic or electric.

Their repertoire ranges from Delta blues and ragtime numbers to well-known rock ’n’ roll tunes and country blues songs. The two take their cues from musicians such as Robert Johnson, Ry Cooder, and Eric Clapton, and round out their rich repertoire with songs by Little Feat or the Allman Brothers Band.

Woinemer Brauhof Acoustic – a classy little couch concert every 1st Thursday The format is designed as an easygoing, classy couch concert. For around 1 hour, Woinemer Hausbrauerei invites guests to listen to an artistic performance from 8–9 PM in the atmosphere of the Brauhof. The perfect way to ease into the weekend. Admission is free – a donation hat will be passed around.
